REV. DIANE RIGGS

Diane Hurst Riggs was born in Memphis, TN.  She graduated from the University of Memphis and is presently attending Memphis Theological Seminary and is enrolled in the Diaconal Program through the AMiA Little Rock Network School of Ministry.  She was ordained a Deacon in September, 2007.

Diane has held many positions in her career, including Christian Education Director and teacher for 20 years.  She taught kindergarten in the public school system for 33 years.  In addition, she served on the Diocese of Tennessee Department of Youth Work for 6 years.

She has served the church in many other capacities, including Senior Warden, Vestry Clerk, Choir Member, Lay Eucharistic Minister, Licensed Lay Reader, and Youth Advisor.  She is currently serving as Missionary from St. Peter's to Grace Anglican Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi.

Diane is married to Charles Carter Riggs.  They have been married for 40 years.
